A Technical Choice: Why We Master in 4K
While 8K is a buzzword, we deliberately master in 4K UHD to prioritize organic detail over data bloat. 8K capture creates a massive thermal heat and very high energy usage.
Our 1 hour static OneShots in raw environments make using 8K impossible with the current technology available.
The Delivery Standard
Our 4K HEVC files are optimized for native 4K vertical monitors and mobile devices. Because our masters are captured with maximum bit-depth, they provide a clean, high-density source that can be professionally upscaled if your specific installation requires an 8K output.
For the tech nerds, specifications aren’t just numbers; they are evidence of craft. Listing these details proves you aren’t just hitting “Record” on a phone—you are managing a high-end data pipeline.
Audio: our videos do not have audio. This is because working the camreras as well as teh environment does not allow for clean audio recordings. You can place your own audio or play the videos without it.
Technical Details
Resolution: 4K Ultra HD. The footage is captured at a very high resolution (5.3K) and then brought down to 4K. This makes the final image much sharper than standard 4K.
Color and Detail: 10-bit HDR10+. This means the video can show over a billion colors. It prevents ugly lines in the sky or water (banding) and keeps the colors looking exactly like they did in person.
Motion: 60 Frames Per Second. Most videos are slower. By using 60, the movement of water and light looks smooth and lifelike, not choppy.
File Format: High-Efficiency Video (HEVC). This keeps the quality very high while making the file size smaller and easier to download.
Long Takes: Continuous 60-Minute Files. We join recording segments together perfectly using technical tools. There are no skips, no quality loss, and no loops. What you see is one hour of real, unique time.
